Triple sevens Blackjack is one of the new blackjack games available online. The base for this new game is the standard blackjack but in this form a player becomes qualified for a progressive jackpot by placing a side bet. The jackpot could be worth a large amount of money even amounting to several hundred thousand dollars worth and this aspect makes Triple sevens blackjack very appealing to the players.

A player must get three diamond sevens at one go from his/her first card of a hand to win in Triple sevens Blackjack. By now means is this easy but when this actually happens the excitement can hardly be contained. Blackjack games have seen a lot of variations coming in ever since the arrival of the internet. Triple sevens blackjack is definitely one of the most exciting and profitable form of blackjack which is available online today.

A set of five standard decks of playing cards are required for a game of Triple sevens blackjack. All the decks are shuffled together before the start of a game. With five decks in the games it is goes without saying that there is five of every card including five diamond sevens. To play a game of Triple sevens a side bet has to be placed compulsorily. As this is a blackjack game a player wins when he/she beats the dealer’s hand but does not exceed 21 or when the dealer’s hand goes over 21.

In a game of Triple 7, the dealer will have to stand on a total of 17 and hit on a sum of 16. Cards including aces are allowed to be spilt and re-spilt. The catch in this game is that a player cannot split two cards with different denominations but must possess the equal value. For example a ten plus a jack have a value of 10 hence cannot be spilt. Hands with a value of 9, 10 and 11 will be allowed to double down but a player cannot double after making a split. Players new to Triple sevens blackjack need to remember that at a time they can play only one hand.

Just as in other blackjack games the value of face cards is 10. With Aces having a value of 1 or 11 it is left to the player to make a decision on the value. A player should pick 1 or 11 depending on which would bring the maximum advantage for the hand that is being played. In Triple sevens blackjack a player can have a maximum of 11 cards in a single hand. If a player does not exceed 21 after holding 11 cards then the player must make a stand. However, if a player is dealt a 10 card and an Ace then the player is said to have a natural. A player who is fortunate enough to get such a hand will have to stand. When a player has a natural it cannot be defeated but it can be matched. There will be situations where a player and the dealer both find themselves with a set of naturals. This situation is called “push” in blackjack games. In such cases the player is paid back the original bet amount that was placed.

Triple 7 blackjacks have different winnings on offer to the players. There are the regular ones in which the blackjack hand winners will get paybacks of 2:1 or 3:2 and the non-blackjack hand winners will get paid out the original bet amounts. The excitement that surrounds Triple 7 blackjack is however the jackpots with bonuses. To win a progressive jackpot a player must get triple sevens consecutively. There is no limit to how much can be won. The longer a game is played the more there is going to be for the winner.
